Yahoo News Neighbours' Paul lies to Roxy in Vance aftermath
Neighbours bad boy Paul Robinson lies to Roxy Willis next week in the hope of keeping Vance Abernethy away for good.
Paul (Stefan Dennis) pretends to be an ally to Roxy as she hopes to bring her older lover back to Erinsborough following his recent disappearing act.
Last week's episodes saw Vance do a runner from Ramsay Street. Paul and Roxy were both left furious when Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) then came clean about how Vance was her first love – a key fact that she'd kept from them.
As the aftermath continues to play out next week, Paul rejects a spontaneous marriage proposal from Terese, who's grown desperate to get her relationship back on track.
Fortunately, it's not all bad news for the couple, as Paul finally decides to give Terese another chance and moves back in with her.
Just when things seem to be settling down again, Paul is alarmed to hear that Roxy wants to track down Vance so they can talk.
Roxy is heartbroken after Terese gives her some harsh home truths about Vance being a love rat, so she wants to hear his side of the story.
When Roxy turns to Paul and begs for his help with locating Vance, he agrees on the condition that she stops giving Terese a hard time.
Later, Paul confides in Terese about his agreement with Roxy – adding that he has no real intention of finding Vance.
As the last thing Paul wants is for Vance to return, he vows to string Roxy along with false information until she gets bored and gives up hope. Will his plan pay off?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, June 24 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
