Yahoo News Netflix Fool Me Once producers filming new series in famous shop as star spotted
Film crews have once again descended on the area for an upcoming Netflix production.
ECHO photographers captured images today of camera crews on location at ice cream shop, Nicholls of Parkgate. The crew were shooting scenes for a new series from the streaming giants titled Missing You.
The show is an adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel and Rosalind Eleazar is starring in the lead role as Detective Kat Donovan. The 35-year-old star was spotted tucking into one of Nicholls' famous ice creams as she enjoyed some downtime between filming scenes.

The actor, who is known for her roles in Slow Horses and Class of 09, was spotted getting into a car during filming as the panoramic views you can take in from Parkgate are in the background. The star studded cast of the upcoming series also includes Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton and James Nesbitt.
Netflix commissioned the show on the back off the huge success of Fool Me Once earlier this year, which was another Harlan Coben adaptation from the same producers. The production of Missing You was spotted in Merseyside in February when camera crews were captured surrounding the bandstand in Sefton Park.
Missing You tells the story of Detective Kat Donovan whose fiancé Josh disappeared 11 years ago and she's never heard from him since. In the present day, she's swiping profiles on a dating app when she suddenly sees his face.
According to the synopsis: "Josh's reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past."
