New ‘Hater’ app finds you dates - based on what you loathe the most

Most of us a few pet hates that really drive us up the wall – people who walk too slowly on city pavements, say, or Donald Trump.

But is a mutual hatred of Jeremy Corbyn, say, really a good foundation for a lasting love affair?

A new app made by a former Goldman Sachs employee helps you find romance – based on what you hate the most.

The app, Hater, is available free on the iTunes app store – users build up a profile by swiping to show their opinions on topics from selfies to Donald Trump.

If you swipe up, you ‘love’ ‘it, down is ‘hate’ and right and left are ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ – the app then shows you the percentage match you have with potential dates.

Creator Brendan Alper, 29, said, ‘It started off as a joke, a wouldn’t-it-be-funny-if and then we kept playing around with it and it seemed like it could work as an actual idea.
