Given the recent spate of bizarre pop ups shops on London’s streets, we really shouldn’t be surprised that the latest one to open sells nothing but water.

Yep, you heard correctly – the ‘H2Only’ shop is set to open in Shoreditch this Friday only, and water will be the only item on the menu.

But before you descend into a hipster-fuelled rage, perhaps it’s worth mentioning the real reason behind the shop.

It’s part of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s H2Only Challenge – which aims to raise money by encouraging people to drink nothing but water from June 2-12.

Yes – that means no beer, no cocktails and no cappuccinos in the morning.

However, it does sound pretty healthy and is for a worthy cause – so sign up at h2only.org.uk if you fancy taking part.

Ours is a pint! (Of water, obvs).
