Newcastle United vs Tottenham Hotspur live stream, TV channel and how to watch Australia friendly

Newcastle United have travelled to Australia to face Tottenham Hotspur in a friendly just three days after the conclusion of the 2023/24 Premier League campaign.

The Magpies did all they could to secure European football next season after beating Brentford 4-2 on the final day of the season. Eddie Howe's side finished seventh in the standings, and know that a Manchester City victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup final this weekend will secure their participation in the Europa Conference League next term.

Upon the announcement of the fixture between the two sides, it has caused widespread controversy among supporters and players themselves. Kieran Trippier has admitted the 21,000 round trip is "not ideal" for the players, while Alan Shearer has also labelled the decision as "madness" with it being so close to the start of the upcoming EURO 2024 tournament.
