Beyonce Confirms Luke James As Support Act For European 'Mrs. Carter Show' Tour Dates

Beyonce fans are in for a treat as the singer has confirmed that R&B singer Luke James will be supporting her on the European dates of her Mrs. Carter Show world tour.

The 31-year-old kicked off the jaunt on Monday in Belgrade, Serbia, and will be performing throughout the rest of Europe during April and it looks like she will have a new friend in tow with her when she hits Paris on April 24.

Beyonce has confirmed that 'I Want You' singer Luke James, who is managed by Beyonce's creative director Frank Gatson Jr., will be joining on the tour.

“Luke James is a gifted singer and songwriter and what he does on stage with his pure falsetto is incredible,” Beyonce said in a statement.

“I am excited to have him join the tour and to introduce this soulful singer to an audience in Europe that will be discovering a true star.”

Luke, 28, also confirmed the news which he has described as a “blessing.”

“It is such an unimaginable honor to be sharing the light yet again with Beyoncé on her sold out Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

“This is a blessing that I do not take lightly. Thank you, Beyoncé.”

Luke has already supported the 'Bootylicious' diva, performing at her Revel resort concert in Atlantic City last year.

The R&B doesn't just have a hand in music as he will be starring in the Black Nativity alongside Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige later this year.

Sounds like he's one to watch! Beyonce performed in Croatia last night and will continue 'The Mrs. Carter Show' world tour tomorrow in Slovakia.
