It doesn't take much effort on Chris Brown's part to cause a ruckus, so when the R&B singer turned up to his rumoured girlfriend Rihanna's Halloween party over an hour early dressed as a Middle Eastern terrorist, it could only be half expected.

The 'Yeah 3x' singer, who notoriously left Rihanna in a bloodied and battered state after attacking her in 2009, wore the distasteful Halloween costume at the spooky party held in Los Angeles.

Brown arrived at 'Greystone Manor' with a large entourage, arriving over an hour early than the host, his ex-girlfriend, dressed as terrorist Sheik in a dishdasha robe, a headdress and a belt of bullets draped over one shoulder.

The superstar singer is renowned for causing a ruckus, including his fight with Drake over Rihanna in a nightclub this summer as well as making a video claiming he was in love with both former girlfriend Karrueche Tran and RiRi.

So when he posted a snap to his Twitter profile in the Taliban inspired outfit, we kind of have an inkling that he was expecting some form of backlash.

The picture showed Chris and friends all impersonating religious extremists, and we highly doubt RiRi would have been too pleased with the said costumes.

Brown even acquired a long bushy beard with a machine gun in hand for the shot, but arrived at the bash in designer sunglasses. What a way to add a western touch...

But it wasn't long before Chris' Twitter following had something to say about the controversial outfits, with one person tweeting: "Just in case you needed another reason to hate Chris Brown, behold his Halloween costume."

Another wrote: "Chris Brown and friends dressed as 'Arab Terrorists' for Halloween. You guys still like this guy? Really?"

Someone else added: "Just when you thought Chris Brown couldn't get any worse."

But despite Chris causing huge offence with his costume, he was greeted at the bash by a mystery woman, whereby they embraced with a cosy hug.

What about RiRi?
