Chris Hemsworth And Elsa Pataky Announce Twin Boys Name And Post First Picture
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky have named their twin boys Tristan and Sasha. The couple welcomed their second and third child in Los Angeles over the weekend and revealed their chosen monkiers in a post on Twitter on Monday.
The couple, who are already parents to 22 month old India, revealed they were expecting twins in January with the Spanish blonde showing off quite the baby bump when she accompanied Chris to the Oscars in March.
Elsa shared the first snap of the babies on her Instagram page as she announced she's already home from hospital following the double birth.
“They are already home. Tristan and Sasha arrived in this world 18 March just after the full moon. Complete happiness!!” the Spanish actress wrote.
Elsa was reported to have arrived at the Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre last Thursday to give birth, with the safe arrival of twins confirmed over the weekend.
As baby names go, Tristan and Sasha are pretty normal for Hollywood and have some pretty cute meanings which more than fit a Hemsworth boy.
Tristan is of Welsh origin and apparently stems from the meaning "noise", we hope that's not a reflection of the new arrival or Chris and Elsa are in for some late nights.
Sasha meanwhile comes from Central and Southern Europe, which may be a nod to Elsa's Spanish routes, and means defender and helper of mankind. Well sounds like little Sasha is a chip off the old block - after all Chris is already Thor!

Chris and Elsa have been married for three years and currently reside in Los Angeles, but the
boys are the first to be born on US soil, as Elsa was born in London where Australian Hemsworth was filming at the time.
Hemsworth previously told E! Online that fatherhood had changed him "for the better" because parenting brings out the kid in people.
"That's what's so beautiful," he said. "It reminds you of the fascination you had with things and how you can spend hours just being with someone… It's amazing."
