Dancing On Ice: It’s A Shock Exit For Suzanne Shaw In The Skate-Off!

It’s been a night of high scores and fighting talk on Dancing On Ice, but sadly, we still had to say goodbye to one celebrity. It was even harder this week, as all the remaining contestants are past champions!

After a quick look back at the evening’s earlier show, it was announced that, in a shock result, Kyran Bracken and Suzanne Shaw would be facing the dreaded skate-off.

As Suzanne’s first time EVER in the fight for a place next week, she admitted she was nervous but was “glad to still be here. I’ve enjoyed every second. Everyone’s amazing.” Kyran tried to calm her nervous, telling her it’s quite relaxing – we’re not sure she agreed!

Sadly for Suzanne, her skate to Madonna’s ‘Music’ suffered a couple of mistakes, but would they cost her next week’s place?

Nicky was first to cast his vote, commenting that “neither of you should be here. I wish I wasn’t here.” Eventually voting to save Kyran, it was a decision Ashley agreed with, adding “Suzanne, I wanted to save you, you’re one of my favourite performers but there were too many mistakes. Kyran, you performed beautifully.”

Jason was the third judge to save Kyran, meaning we would definitely be saying goodbye to Suzanne. He also commented on Suzanne’s skating ability, noting “you are phenomenal, but mistakes are costly in the skate-off.”

Suzanne was understandably disappointed, but added that she was “glad we went out on one of our best skates.”
