Devlin has responded to Kanye West sharing one of his freestyles on his website, but says he still can't work out if the G.O.O.D. Music was impressed with his lyrical skills.

'Run Away' rapper Devlin was surprised back in 2008 when Kanye shared a video of Devlin delivering a freestyle alongside Dogzilla on his personal blog, under the heading: "Gangsta Rap."

During an interview with TaleTela, Devlin laughed off the title and says he still hasn't worked out if Kanye was giving him a compliment or not.

"I still to this day can't work out if he was taking the mick (micky). We're two white geezers spitting bars in a park, gangster rapping," Devlin told us.

"Or he was showing love. I ain't ever gonna be a gangster in my life, but I like my rapping. And if it was out of love, then love to Kanye."

He then joked: "But he's not the best rapper in the world anyway, if it was out of disgust, then screw you Kanye."

"It's a bit cheeky, gangster rapping, two white fellas in the park. I'm not a gangster but I am a rapper."

We'd say Yeezy was giving you a compliment Devlin! Check out his response below...
