Diva? Margot Robbie Recalls Giving Leonardo DiCaprio Orders While Filming Wolf of Wall Street

Margot Robbie may be one of the hottest stars in Hollywood right now but it seems she's had some confidence for a while as the actress admits she once had to give her Wolf of Wall Street co-star Leonardo DiCaprio an order while filming scenes for the award-winning movie.

The 23-year-old, who attended the Golden Globes this weekend, plays Leo's on-screen wife, Naomi Lapaglia, in the biopic based on the life of infamous American banker Jordan Belfort and it would appear that Margot grew very comfortable on set as she recalls the time when she had to tell Leo off for casting a shadow on her face during a scene making it hard for the lighting crew.

“Everyone made it sound like it was a really horrible interaction - it wasn't, it was just a really funny moment where [the crew] were trying to figure out how to get a shadow off my face and I knew that it was being created by his head, so I just moved it out of my light,” Margot said, according to the Press Association.

When asked if it was the first time in a while that Leo had been told ordered around, Margot replied: “I think it was, because he was so incredulous. He said, 'did you just move me out of your light?' I was like, 'well yeah, you're putting a shadow on my face.'”

The Australian star, who rose to fame on Neighbours in 2008, admits that while she had to play a loud and brash character on-screen, she wasn't exactly bursting with confidence piror to shooting the movie due to the daunting prospect of working with the likes of Leonardo and legendary director Martin Scorsese.

“For me, the biggest challenge was walking onto such a huge set, such a fast-paced, chaotic set with arguably the biggest director and biggest actor of our generation, and playing a character that has the biggest personality and all the confidence in the world, when you feel like you have no confidence at all,” Margot admitted.

“You feel this big amongst those people, but you have to act like you rule the room that you walk into.”
