Emma Stone Talks About Chemistry With Boyfriend Andrew Garfield: 'It's Either There Or It Isn't'

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield met on the set of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and have been together for over a year. Both notoriously tight-lipped about their private life, Stone has hinted at their instant attraction.

The Gangster Squad star spoke of her connection with the 29-year-old Brit, and according to the MailOnline, she said: "I don’t think you should try to explain the chemistry between two people — it’s either there or it isn’t.

“Initially, I was worried that 'The Amazing Spider-Man' was going to be all CGI and green screens. But then I got the script, which had these incredible scenes between Peter (Garfield) and Gwen with real emotion and heart.”

Her boyfriend Andrew Garfield has also spoken of the immediate attraction.

Talking to MTV about their screen test he said, "We got on really well as people, in between [takes], that was the fun stuff: In between, we'd just mess around, and I felt, 'Ah, this is different.'"

In her interview Emma also went on to say, "The only thing money buys you is opportunity."

Obviously grateful for her success, she insists, "it doesn't buy you love or happiness - why parents taught me that."
