Is Jennifer Lawrence Going Bald? Insiders Claim It Was The Reason Behind Her Big Chop

Jennifer Lawrence pleasantly wowed everyone when she decided to go for the big chop, cutting her hair into a chic bob – but it’s been claimed that there was a more serious reason for the change of style than just a makeover.

The Silver Linings Playbook actress debuted a shorter look last month and now insiders have said the Hollywood star went for the snip because her hair is allegedly falling out.

“She’s been sporting a shorter do for weeks, and has made out it’s for style reasons,” a source confided to the Daily Star.

“But really she chopped her hair off because it’s been falling out of her head.”

It’s believed the two-year-old’s mane has taken quite a beating from having chemical treatments and extensions, so according to the source, Jennifer decided the only way to get it healthy again was to start from scratch.

“Jennifer’s had so many chemical treatments and extensions the only thing she could do to make her hair healthy again was to start over. She’s getting really paranoid about it.”

Jen was recently rumoured to have rekindled her relationship with ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult after the two were spotted enjoying a dinner date at The Little Door in Los Angeles.

However, a source shot down the claims, insisting that the pair are just friends. “Jennifer and Nicholas are not back together, their dinner date was innocent ,” a source told RadarOnline.

“They are still very close friends, despite their break up, and regularly text or phone each other from across the pond. With Nicholas being in Los Angeles for business meetings, it gave them the chance to get together and catch up on what’s going on.”
