Rihanna Scores 25th Top 10 On Billboard Hot 100 Chart Thanks To Eminem Collaboration 'The Monster'

Rihanna is not showing any signs of slowing down after breaking yet another record, this time scoring her 25th top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after releasing her smash hit collaboration with Eminem, 'The Monster.'

The 'We Found Love' singer and Slim Shady bagged a number one in the UK with their latest collaboration, which features on Eminem's new album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2,' while it peaked at number three on the US Billboard charts and as if that wasn't enough of an achievement, the dynamic duo have smashed a record with the release.

Billboard reports that 'The Monster' is Rihanna's 25th entry on the Hot 100, incredibly matching Elvis Presley's feat at number eight on the list of the artists who have notched up the most top 10s. Queen of pop Madonna is still holding onto the top spot after clocking up an eye-watering 38 top 10 hits while The Beatles are at number two with 34 and King of Pop Michael Jackson following not too far behind with 28.

Thanking fans for helping to break the record, Rihanna tweeted yesterday: “Navy thank you for pushing me and allowing me to keep breaking records and making histoRIH along with the greats! Jah just keeps blessing us.”

However, RiRi does have something else to celebrate as while Madonna is number one on the list, the Bajan songstress has become the fastest female artist to achieve the milestone after taking just eight years and four months, while it took Madge eight years and seven months to rack up 25 top 10 singles.

Some of Rihanna's biggest hits include her 2005 debut 'Pon De Replay' which peaked at number six, her first ever number one 'SOS,' 2007's 'Umbrella' which has become her biggest single to date and last year's 'Diamonds.'

Eminem recently gushed over his partner in hits and after the pair scored a number one around the world with 2010's 'Love The Way You Lie,' it's not hard to see why he wanted to team up with the hitmaker once again.

“The perception of the record, what it's saying, I thought it would be a good idea to have her on it because I think people look at us like we're both a little nuts,” Eminem told MTV News.

“That's one of the things that I was telling her in making the record. I think that people look at us a little crazy. As soon as I got the beat I just heard her on it.”

He continued: “I wanted to make sure that I had it finished first to be able to present to her, but once I had the rhymes done, I sent it to her. She laid the hook, sent it back. She smashed it like she does always. It's pretty incredible.”
