'I Think She's Incredible': Lily Allen Praises Adele For 'Doing Things On Her Own Terms'

Lily Allen is known for being outspoken and has no problem letting us know exactly whom she doesn't like, but it seems Adele is one of the few people who are in the 'Smile' singer's good books, admitting that she thinks the Grammy-winner is “incredible.”

The 'Air Balloon' songstress, who is gearing up for the release of her third studio album 'Sheezus' next month, has plenty in common with 'Rolling In The Deep' star Adele, with the pair having potty mouths and becoming first-time mothers in recent years so it comes as no surprise that Lily has heaped praise on her fellow Brit.

When asked which people she actually likes in the world, Lily replied: “My husband. And Adele – I think she’s incredible, and I love the way she does things on her own terms.

“She did that before she was successful, actually – I have a lot of love and admiration and respect for her. She’s not scared of losing anything, you see – it doesn’t mean anything to her. She’s not materialistic.”

Adele, 26, has remained out of the spotlight for more than a year after giving birth to son Angelo and fans have been waiting with bated breathe for the powerhouse singer to release her third album, with some even speculating that she'll release it as a surprise in the style of Beyonce.

“I think she will do that. I have an inkling,” Lily agreed.

“Just a hunch. Based on nothing,” she teased.

Lily, 28, then remained coy on whether she's been fortunate enough to hear the music Adele has reportedly been recording over the last few months, saying with a laugh: “I have no idea. I… Haven’t heard any.”

Lily will be releasing 'Sheezus' on May 5 and will feature the tracks 'Hard Out Here,' 'Air Balloon' and the title track.
