Next warns shoppers 'we've identified problem' and urges them to 'act'

Next has urgently recalled baby sleepsuits over a "choking hazard" risk and has issued an emergency notice in the form of a warning to parents. Next has pulled its three-pack footless yellow and blue zip sleepsuits because the zip slider could become detached, which they've warned could become a choking hazard.

Next said: “We’ve identified a problem with the above item. Unfortunately, it's come to light that there is a potential problem with the zip construction which does not meet our required standards and is a potential choking hazard as the zip slider could become detached.

"As the sleepsuits don't meet our strict technical specifications, we've taken the precaution of recalling them and request that you return the item to us immediately for a full refund. To arrange a collection please call us on 0333 777 8000 and choose option 1. (Lines are open between 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday & 8am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday.)"

"If you have given this item as a gift, please ask the recipient to contact Next as soon as possible." In a title, the high street giant - which has stores across Birmingham and throughout Solihull and the wider West Midlands - said: "URGENT RECALL NOTICE
