Hibs are set to be boosted by the returns of two key players ahead of this weekend's clash with St Johnstone.

The Hibees have been consigned to a dismal bottom six finish but there's still plenty on the line for under-pressure boss Nick Montgomery after club chiefs vowed to conduct a "full review" of the existing football structure at Easter Road. The highest Hibs can finish is seventh but Montgomery faces five make-or-break games, starting this weekend away to relegation-threatened St Johnstone.

Craig Levein's side have managed to get the better of the struggling Edinburgh outfit in their last two meetings and the ex-Hearts boss will be aiming to make it three-in-a-row at McDiarmid Park on Saturday. However, Montgomery has been given a major pre-match lift by the news that two of his top men have returned to full first-team training.

The Edinburgh Evening News reports that full-back Lewis Miller has fully recovered from a hamstring injury having missed the last four games, while midfielder Luke Amos has also returned to the fold having been missing since February. It's said that both players will be included in the matchday squad for Perth.

Miller's availability, in particular, will be hugely welcomed by Montgomery after the 27-year-old limped off during last month's 2-2 draw away to Ross County. Chris Cadden has deputised in the full-back's absence but could now be given a breather, having only recently recovered from a nine-month lay-off with a ruptured Achilles’ tendon.
