Rebekah Vardy 'forced' to take kids out of school following Coleen Rooney backlash
Nicola McLean has claimed that Rebekah Vardy “cannot stop crying” and has “had to take her kids out of school” following her public feud with fellow WAG Coleen Rooney.
McLean, who is married to former Queens Park Rangers footballer Tom Williams, appeared on Jeremy Vine on Thursday 10 October to defend Vardy after Rooney took to social media a day earlier to accuse her of leaking private stories about her to the press.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy’s wife has since denied the allegations launched by ex-England captain Wayne Rooney’s spouse, speaking openly about the abuse she has been receiving since the claims were made.
“I don’t know Coleen but I do know Rebekah and what she’s going through is what nobody should have to go through so publicly,” the former glamour model told the eponymous host, before condemning those who have been threatening Vardy since Rooney shared her investigative findings online.

“She’s got people saying they hope her baby dies inside her. She’s seven months pregnant, she’s had to take her daughter out of school,” the 38-year-old continued. “What she’s shocked about, and what I quite agree with, is how publicly Coleen has done it.”
In her statement, Rooney said: “For years now, someone who I trusted to follow me on my personal Instagram account has been consistently informing The SUN newspaper of my private posts and stories. There has been so much information given to them about me, my friends and my family - all without my permission or knowledge.”
She went on to say that over the last five months, she’d conducted an experiment to determine which account belonged to the tell-all, detailing how she “blocked everyone from viewing [her] Instagram Stories apart from ONE account” and posting a series of false stories to see whether they’d made it into the tabloids.
“And you know what, they did!” Rooney revealed. “It’s been tough keeping it to myself and not making any comment at all. I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It’s…… Rebekah Vardy’s account.”

During the same interview, McLean suggested that if Rooney truly thought Vardy had been behind the leaks then she would’ve named her specifically, rather than using the phrase “Rebekah Vardy’s account.
“That’s not saying it’s Rebekah, it’s someone else with access,” she claimed. “If she thought that shouldn’t she have called Rebekah.”
