Nicole Scherzinger Joining Ricky Wilson, Tinie Tempah And Katherine Ryan On New Music Quiz Show

We have to admit, as much as we’re LOVING this year’s X Factor judging line-up (and loved last year’s), we’ve missed having the sassy and hilarious Nicole Scherzinger on our TV screens.

Luckily, it’s been announced that she’ll be making her TV return later this year alongside Kaiser Chief and The Voice coach Ricky Wilson, singer Tinie Tempah and comic Katherine Ryan.

SCHMAZEBALLS.

Sky 1′s Bring The Noise, which is being described as a ‘music and comedy’ panel show, will be hosted by Ricky, 37, with Nicole, 37, and Tinie, 26, being team captains. Katherine, 32, will be a permanent panellist.

The show will have everything you’d want from a music quiz show and more, including trivia questions, promo parodies, mash-ups and games with musical set pieces.

The teams will then battle it out in a final musical performance round. Oh, and there will even be a House Band each episode.

Sounds pretty awesome already, doesn’t it?

It gets better though, as the live audience will get the chance to participate in some of the games. YAAS.

Speaking about being a part of the show, Scherzy said: “I’m so happy to be involved in this exciting, new, multi faceted show - it’s like nothing out there. I’m looking forward to letting loose, sharing some hidden talents and just having some fun!!”

Tinie added: “I’m really excited to be working with Nicole, Ricky and Katherine on what I hope will be a really incredible show. I feel like TV has been missing a show like this. Let’s bring it!”

Ricky, who’s got a new series of The Voice to look forward to early next year, described Nicole, Tinie, and Katherine as “completely brilliant and ridiculous in equal measure,” continuing on to say: “I’m no stranger to music based TV shows with a competitive element, but this is taking music TV to another level.

“Swing by the off licence, phone for a takeaway, and settle in with Bring the Noise.”

Last but not least, Katherine is really excited to unleash her “forensic interest in music and pop culture” on the new show.

Explaining that ‘Bring The Noise’ is her “favourite Public Enemy track,” she said: “When I was seventeen, I sewed my own prom dress, modelled after an outfit Nicole wore on Eden’s Crush.

“I’ve been following her career from the beginning and if you’d told me then that I’d be in a room with her now, I’d have thought she was visiting me in hospital. Also, Tinie Tempah is my favourite rapper and Ricky Wilson is my favourite Kaiser Chief.”

Considering the show’s production team have worked on the likes of A League Of Their Own, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, something tells us this is going to be a hit.
