Night Court: Marsha Warfield’s Roz Catches Up With Dan on His Couch — 2024 FIRST LOOK (Exclusive)

Reunited, and it feels… well, quite cozy, actually.

TVLine’s #2024FirstLook series continues with an exclusive sneak peek at the Season 2 premiere of NBC’s Night Court — airing Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 8/7c — with Marsha Warfield reprising her role as Roz from the original ’80s series. In the photo above, Roz is relaxing and chatting with her former colleague Dan Fielding (played by John Larroquette) on his couch.

These two have a lot to catch up on, too: Roz first ran into Dan in the Season 1 finale as a defendant in his New Orleans courtroom, where Dan is now serving as a judge. This photo finds Dan and Roz back in his New York City apartment, though, which has us thinking that something must bring Dan back to the Big Apple. (For good, we’re hoping.)

Warfield told TVLine back in May what a pleasure it was working with Larroquette again: “Spending time with him on the set… it was so comfortable and so nice to see him.” She also teased what we can expect from Roz’s return in the Season 2 premiere: “We find out why she went to jail in the first place,” and we also “get to catch up with her for a little bit” and hear about “some of the things she’s done in her past and is doing now.”

Get a sneak peek at Roz’s return above, and then hit the comments to tell us what you’re hoping to see in Season 2.
