Celebrity Big Brother star Nikita Kuzmin's love life away from screen

Nikita Kuzmin's real-life romance has been thrust into the spotlight after his Celebrity Big Brother housemate Louis Walsh claimed to see "chemistry" between him and their co-star Ekin-Su Culculoglu.

The trio have only been in the reality TV show house for a day or two but former X Factor judge Walsh reckoned he could see something between Kuzmin and Love Island's Culculoglu. However, fans were not having any of it and have been quick to point out that the Strictly dancer is actually spoken for as he is dating Lauren Jaine.

What did Louis Walsh say?

Walsh made the comments to Sharon Osbourne, his partner in crime in the fly on the wall show. The pair were tasked with ‘judging’ their housemates, with Osbourne then having to select who would face the Big Brother boot.

And as they spied on the others, music mogul Walsh claimed to see a flicker of interest between Kuzmin and Culculoglu.

“I think I've spotted a romance,” he said. “A budding romance. I think it's Ekin-Su and Nikita." "He's always really close to her," said the TV star. However, Walsh was clearly unaware that the dancer is actually dating Jaine.

Who is Nikita Kuzmin’s girlfriend and how long have they been dating?

Kuzmin and Jaine are thought to have got together last year when they first started to pop up on each other’s socials. Kuzmin shared the odd snap of Jaine as he competed on the BBC ballroom contest during the latest series.

And she posted a string of shots of him on her own account, with some showing them on holiday and with their arms around each other.

Not much is known about Jaine but it’s clear from her Instagram that she is a model and that she is signed to First Model Management. She also appears to have attended Durham University as she has shared pictures that show her graduation ceremony.

What has the Strictly star said about his relationship?

While Kuzmin hasn’t said too much about his romance he does make the odd sweet remark on Instagram. He recently commented after Jaine shared a raft of snaps of the couple, writing simply: “Love you.”

Jaine has thrown her support behind her love Kuzmin as he stars on Celebrity Big Brother. During the live launch, Jaine said goodbye to Kuzmin when he headed onto the stage and then into the house. Host AJ Odudu accidentally referred to Jaine as a "friend".

Also, she posted a picture on Instagram of them on the beach to show her public support for Kuzmin. She wrote on Instagram: "The secret is out! As much as I’m going to miss this crazy boy, I’m so excited for him to be part of this amazing experience. The gattos and I will be watching every single night!!!! Love you @nikita__kuzmin."
