Nikki Bella has said she "would love to go back and do things" in WWE but her life has changed a lot since she last stepped into the ring.

The former Divas Champion's last in-ring appearance for WWE was at the 2022 Royal Rumble, where she was eliminated by her twin Brie. It marked the first time Nikki had wrestled since late 2018, after which she announced her retirement due to doctors finding a cyst on her brain.

Now, speaking on Renee Paquette's The Sessions, Nikki revealed she misses WWE "a lot". "Every time I go do cardio and I put on my music, I'm thinking of storylines and cutting promos," Nikki said.

"We were playing flag football this week and I'm cutting promos. I have so much fun with it. I miss it. I miss it so much. I watch every now and then, and it's only the women's stuff. I'll watch certain matches and I'm like, 'that would be so fun to be a part of' or when I hear them cutting promos.

"What the women are doing there is great, that's why they need more opportunities. When I was on SmackDown, every storyline that I did had nothing to do with the championship and we had great stories," she added.

"I wish I could be back. I would love to go back and do things. It's just different when you're a mom."

Nikki welcomed her first child, a son named Matteo Artemovich Chigvintsev, with her husband, Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev, in July 2020.

After getting engaged in November 2019, Nikki and Artem finally said 'I do' in August 2022. The couple first met when they were paired together on the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars.
