Nina Dobrev Shares Photos from Epic Bachelorette Party She Planned for Jessica Szohr

Szohr commented on Dobrev's Instagram post, 'Best MOH out there,' revealing the 'Vampire Diaries' star's big role in her upcoming wedding

Nina Dobrev is taking her maid-of-honor duties seriously!

On Monday, July 1, the Reunion star, 35, shared a behind-the-scenes look on Instagram at the bachelorette party she threw for her friend and fellow actress Jessica Szohr. Alongside a series of photos and clips of the festivities, she wrote, "#JessicasIDoCrew for her #BRADchelorette 😉."

Szohr, 39, revealed Dobrev's important role in her upcoming wedding in a comment on the post: "Best MOH out there."

The photos showed Szohr — who announced her engagement to former NHL player Brad Richardson in May 2022 — standing by a life-size cardboard cutout of her husband-to-be while wearing a flared white mini and a western hat adorned with the word "BRIDE."

Other shots captured Szohr and her friends posing on the beach, Dobrev taking a dip in the pool and Szohr even getting in on some double-dutch action in her bridal white one-piece.

Yet another photo featured the Gossip Girl alum and Dobrev smiling for a selfie together in glittery dresses.

Julianne Hough cheered on her friends' fun, writing in the comments, "What an epic weekend 🔥."

Szohr and Richardson, 39, welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Bowie Ellie, in January 2021. She shared the happy news on Instagram at the time, posting a black-and-white photo of the newborn's tiny hands.

"Added a little special sweetness to our family and some new direction to our journey on 1-11-21," Szohr wrote in the caption.

"This journey with Brad and Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life," she continued, referring to Richardson's daughter Lexi, whom he shares with ex-wife Lauren Hunt. "To then create a human that is absolutely perfect in our eyes and put a feeling in my heart I didn't know existed is beyond words. I have all the feels and she is really something special."

Two months after Bowie's birth, Dobrev shared a series of photos on Instagram from the moment she first met Szohr's baby as she joked that Bowie "fits in with the squad perfectly."

"BOWIE⚡️⚡️my baby gurl made a baby gurl. got to meet the newest (and cutest) member of the lil backpacks' and i'll tell you what… she's not only PERFECT, but she fits in with the squad perfectly 🎒😍 @jessicaszohr @brichardson15," Dobrev wrote.

Szohr commented on the post, "She loves her auntie Neens so much:) and you guys basically share a birthday:) I hope she is adventurous as you but doesn't get injured as much! ❤️ That's the protective mommy in me:)."

The two actresses first met and forged a friendship while they both starred in CW series at the same time. Dobrev played Elena Gilbert in The Vampire Diaries from 2009 to 2017, while Szohr portrayed Vanessa Abrams in Gossip Girl  from 2007 to 2012.
