Nine pet ducks reported stolen from County Durham allotment

Police are appealing for witnesses following the suspected theft of nine ducks which are believed to have been taken from an allotment overnight.

Officers from Durham Constabulary are investigating reports that nine ducks, which were kept as family pets, were taken overnight on Wednesday, May 15, from an allotment in Langley Park, County Durham.

It is believed that temporary fencing was damaged to gain access to the site off Lanchester Valley Walk.

The ducks are described as being different colours, but three of them are pure white.
