No-Show Boris Dodges 'Most Credible Candidate' Binface at Uxbridge Hustings

Count Binface was branded the “most credible candidate” by one voter at a hustings event in the Uxbridge and South Ruislip constituency on Friday evening, December 6. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the local MP, was a notable absentee.

Binface, the alter-ego of comedian Jon Harvey, ran against Theresa May as Lord Bucketface in 2017. However, a copyright spat forced Harvey into a name change. In a statement, he said: “I have renounced my peerage. I am no longer Lord Buckethead. This is partly because I promised to abolish the Lords last time and I’m a politician who keeps his promises, and partly because I later suffered an unpleasant battle on the planet Copyright.”
