Noel Gallagher admits 'unfinished' Wonderwall is one of his least favourite Oasis songs
Noel Gallagher says 'Wonderwall' is the one of his least favourite Oasis songs, despite it being their most popular hit.
Speaking to Mojo magazine, the eldest Gallagher brother revealed his reason for not liking the 1995 hit from Oasis's second album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?.
“Wonderwall is my least favourite [Oasis] song because it’s not finished,” he said.

Adding that he had 'no idea' why the song, which has been streamed over 1.1 billion times on Spotify, has become as famous as it has, he shared the song he wishes the band had become synonymous with.
“If I could somehow twist time and go back there, I would pick a different song for our calling card – probably Some Might Say.”
Some Might Say provided Oasis with their first UK Number One single in 1995, ending Take That's four week run at number one with their hit Back For Good.
Selling just over 100,000 copies in its first week, it became the Mancunian band's sixth best-selling single in the UK.
Although the Gallagher brothers are best-known for their discography, their longstanding feud since the band split in 2009 is also often a topic of conversation.
Noel has revealed that recently he is often awkwardly mistaken for his younger brother Liam, when asked for photographs by fans.

Admitting that he “humours” most people to forego the awkwardness of revealing his true identity, he told Matt Morgan’s podcast that he finds the mix up funny:
"I get f***ing people going: 'Can I get a picture, Liam?' I go 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, no problem, ooh mad for it.'
"I don't stamp my feet and go: 'Stop calling me that!' No, I humour them."
Liam took to Twitter on New Years Eve last year in a public attempt to try and resolve the on-going feud. He tweeted: “HNY Noel love you long time 2021 is out year c’mon you know LG x.”
