Congratulations are in order for Keke Palmer, who has welcomed her first child.

The Nope star confirmed back in December that she was expecting a baby with boyfriend Darius Daulton Jackson, sharing the news at the time during a Saturday Night Live appearance.

"Born during Black History Month, with a name to match!" she wrote. "LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo."

During her original announcement on SNL, Palmer told audiences: "I'm especially glad to be here though because there's some rumours going around. People have been in my comments saying: 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant', and I want to set the record straight. I am!"

She then opened her jacket, adding: "I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumours about you, y'all, but it's even worse when they're correct!

Palmer continued: "But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited guys. I'm going to be a mum!"
