Congratulations are in order for Keke Palmer, who has welcomed her first child.
Palmer has now revealed on Instagram that she has given birth, posting a series of photos of the newborn, as well as a few clips, while also confirming the baby's name.
"Born during Black History Month, with a name to match!" she wrote. "LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo."
During her original announcement on SNL, Palmer told audiences: "I'm especially glad to be here though because there's some rumours going around. People have been in my comments saying: 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant', and I want to set the record straight. I am!"
She then opened her jacket, adding: "I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumours about you, y'all, but it's even worse when they're correct!
"I mean... I was trying so hard to keep it on the down-low because I've got a lot of stuff going on, you know. People kept coming up to me: 'Congratulations', I'm like: 'Shhhh, can you stop, I got a liquor sponsorship on the line. Let the cheque clear, then we can get to the damn baby shower!"
Palmer continued: "But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited guys. I'm going to be a mum!"
The actress recently played the role of Emerald 'Em' Haywood in Jordan Peele's sci-fi horror movie Nope.
