A new nightclub is opening in one of Norfolk's, now empty, Bar and Beyond's.

The owner of Dr Thirsty's (DT's) in King's Lynn is expanding down the road to the former bar.

The new club in Norfolk Street is hoping to give the area a new lease of life aiming to appeal to the whole town.

Daniel High, the owner of DT's and the new nightclub said: "We want to be a club that is open to everyone.

"We want to be constantly changing and evolving with different DJs, different music and different acts.

"King's Lynn has such a great history of music we want to bring live music back to the town."

The club is currently undergoing a renovation installing new lighting and "bringing the club up to scratch" with the new interior promising to be "upmarket at the front and retro in the back".

The name and opening date have not yet been confirmed but the Mr High said he hopes to be open in late May.
