The North West 200 clicks into gear this week with two days of racing and plenty of practice and qualifying to enjoy.

Tens of thousands of fans will descend on the Triangle circuit to watch some of the world's best road racers lock horns.

And there will be thousands more watching from across the world, cheering on their heroes including Glenn Irwin, Michael Dunlop and Davey Todd.

But who will take the chequered flag and celebrate a famous NW200 win?

When and where is the North West 200?

The NW200 takes place from Wednesday, May 8 to Saturday, May 11 with various other events held across the race week.

When is the racing?

There are three races on Thursday afternoon/evening, with a further six held on Saturday.

Practice schedule

Practice will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, with roads closed from 9am to 3pm on both days.

When is the racing?

Three races will be held on Thursday, May 9 with the opener at 4.45pm and the last race starting at 7.15pm.

A further six races will be held on Saturday, May 11 with the first getting under way at 10am approximately.

Road closures

Roads close on Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm for practice, and then from 4.45pm to 9pm for racing. Roads will close on Saturday from 9am to 7pm.
