Northern Ireland Bank Holiday weekend weather outlook ahead of Belfast City Marathon

Cheers to another Bank Holiday weekend!

While the weather has been particularly disappointing so far in 2024, Northern Ireland could finally be feeling some Springtime heat over the next few days.

Temperatures could reach 15C in Belfast over the weekend as thousands of runner are set to take to the streets on Sunday for the annual Moy Park Belfast City Marathon.

The Met Office has said that Northern Ireland is in for some "warm sunshine" this weekend with sunny spells set to break up any patchy rain forecasted.

Their outlook for Saturday to Monday said: "Low cloud and drizzle possible on Saturday.

"Generally brighter with some warm sunshine around on Sunday and Monday, but rather cloudy at times with showers or longer spells of rain."
