People across Northern Ireland are heading to the polls to vote in the UK General Election.

The July 4 election will see 18 politicians from constituencies across Northern Ireland voted in to represent their area in the UK Parliament at Westminster in London.

Votes can be placed in person or if you're unable to attend on the day, you can register in advance to vote via postal vote, where your ballot paper is voted out to you in advance of the election, or proxy vote, where you can appoint someone you trust to vote on your behalf.
