Thousands of people are set to take to the streets of Northern Ireland this week to celebrate the Eleventh Night bonfires and Twelfth of July parades.

Whether participating in celebrations or spectating, most of the main events to celebrate the 334th anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne take place outside every year - so weather plays an important part in preparations.

After a wet start to the week, the Met Office has forecast that the rain is likely to stay off, remaining "dry for most" for Eleventh Night bonfires on Thursday.
