Missing Gateshead teenager last seen at 2am has now been found, confirm Northumbria Police

A teenager who was last seen during the early hours of the morning has now been found.

Jackson Brown, 17, from Gateshead, was last seen in the Eighton Terrace area of Wrekenton shortly after 2am on Tuesday morning. Officers and Jackson's family became increasingly concerned for his welfare.

He was described as being a white male, around 5ft 8 inches tall, of large build, with long, wavey hair.

Northumbria Police urged members of the public to contact them if they had any information about where Jackson might be. The force has now confirmed that Jackson has been located safely.
