Northumbria Police has appealed for help finding a man they wish to speak to in relation to a Jesmond burglary.

The force has released images of the man they are searching for. The burglary is alleged to have taken place at around 7.30pm on April 6 in the Brandling Park area.

Police said it had been reported that a man entered the property through a boarded-up window, looked around a number of rooms, and left with a bag he has found at the address.

The police said a number of enquiries had been carried out and now officers have released images of a man understood to have been in the area at the time.

Northumbria Police believes the man may be able to assist with their investigation. The man, or anyone who knows who he is, should use the ‘Report’ page of the Northumbria Police website, or call 101, quoting crime reference number 39564E/24.
