'Nothing to See Here': Gusty Winds and Falling Snow Reduce Visibility in Western Minnesota

Whiteout conditions were seen in Graceville, Minnesota, on March 16, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of blowing snow in the area that day.

Footage recorded by Carol Bauer shows the terrifyingly low visibility in the area, as she drives past two large vehicles.

“Nothing to see here – literally,” Bauer said in a tweet where she shared her footage.

The NWS warned motorists to take it slow on Thursday, as “gusty winds and falling snow are creating drifting to blowing snow” which leads to “a decrease in visibilities.” Credit: Carol Bauer via Storyful
