Nottingham bar, the Good Fellow George, has launched a new bottomless brunch with a twist. Burgers, pizzas and pancakes, washed down by cocktails, are a common feature across the city's bottomless brunching scene.

But starting on Saturday, June 29, the laid-back brunch at the bar in Canning Circus will offer a range of homemade tapas and antipasti with unlimited Guinness or fizz over a 90-minute period.

The menu will change every month but as an example, it could include a mixed antipasti board with Nocellara olives, air-dried bresola and Driftwood goat's cheese. Sample tapas dishes are black tiger king prawns, fried buttermilk schnitzel, sticky pork belly with gochujang chilli, burrata, and truffled fries.

Brunch can be booked between 11am and 2pm on the last Saturday of the month, priced at £45 per person. As well as Guinness and fizz, house lagers and wine will also be served.

Places for this Saturday are still available and the next event will be on July 27. If it proves popular it could become more regular.

James McDermott, co-founder of The Good Fellow George, said: "We’re excited to be bringing something a little different to the already amazing bottomless brunch scene here in Nottingham. We’re really looking forward to welcoming new faces through our doors and helping people discover how great an area Canning Circus is!”

Although it won't be served at the bottomless brunch, the bar has gained a name for itself as being the first in Nottinghamshire to serve Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone lager. It continues to draw new customers nearly every day.

Also stocked is Diddly Squat Gin and Cow Juice Vodka from Clarkson’s Farm for the non-lager drinkers. James added: "One thing we have always been proud of is that we stock a unique range of beers, wines and spirits, with Clarkson’s products being one of the most popular since we opened in 2020.

"We are over the moon with how popular Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone has been and the wonders it has done for trade as well as our brand awareness."
