With hundreds of rides and attractions, Goose Fair will return to Nottingham in a few months for another ten-day period. This will be the third time that the travelling funfair will stay in the city for this duration after it was first confirmed for the 2022 fair and then 2023.

In previous years before the pandemic the fair only lasted for five days, which means it has now doubled in duration in comparison. This year's Goose Fair will begin on Friday, September 27, and it will last until Sunday, October 6, and is expected to bring hundreds of thousands of visitors.

This means there will be plenty of time for people to visit the fair with their friends and family. A post on the Nottingham Goose Fair Facebook page states: "Nottingham Goose Fair will be 10 days once again this year! Friday 27th September - Sunday 6th October 2024.

"Check back for more updates through the summer. See you all in September!" Further details are still yet to be confirmed for this year's event, such as any new rides, but we can expect that as usual there will be a great range of favourites and new attractions at the Forest Recreation Ground.

The annual event is organised by the city council in tandem with the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Showmen's Guild.
