Candidates seeking your vote will be put to the test as Nottinghamshire Live hosts a series of hustings for the county's battleground constituencies. With less than three weeks to go until the country goes to the polls in the July 4 general election, candidates fighting some of Nottinghamshire's key races will be answering questions on local issues.

Nottinghamshire is made up of eleven parliamentary constituencies and Nottinghamshire Live will be bringing you coverage of every single contest on election night. For the hustings, five of the tightest races in Nottinghamshire have been picked.

Hustings will be held with candidates standing in Ashfield, Mansfield, Rushcliffe, Sherwood Forest and Bassetlaw. Every candidate for each of these five seats has been invited to our online hustings events.

So far, the Conservative and Labour candidates in each seat have confirmed their attendance and across our five hustings, we will hear from Liberal Democrat, Green Party, Reform UK, Trade Union and Socialist Coalition and independent voices. Candidates in attendance will be given the chance to deliver opening and closing statements and they will be grilled on local issues ranging from housing to the NHS.

Although focused on the five constituencies above, the hustings events should prove useful for everyone across Nottinghamshire ahead of the July 4 poll. You can follow the events live on our Facebook and X pages, as well as on our YouTube channel.

All five events will also be available to watch afterwards. Below is the date and time of each hustings event. We hope you can join us.
