Police have released CCTV images after a burglary at a block of student flats in Nottingham city centre. A sound bar speaker was among a number of items stolen during a reported break-in in Maid Marian Way at around 4.20am on April 15.

Nottinghamshire Police, which received a call about the incident at 8.20pm the same day, have released three images of a man they want to speak to. “We believe this individual could help us discover exactly what happened," said police constable Archie Oldroyd.

“Burglaries are invasive and unpleasant crimes which can have a lasting emotional impact on victims. As a result we always do everything we can to trace offenders and bring them to justice."
