A nursing home organised its very own mini Glastonbury to show you're never too old for a festival. Residents, relatives and staff all joined in the festivities at Frome Nursing Home - complete with live music, colourful decorations and cool art installations.

Residents - who are known as family members at the home - were treated to a BBQ lunch during the event on June 22. And also on the bill was the home's administrator Cassie, who became a mime performer for the day.

In true Glastonbury style, music was a big part of the day. Family member John Whittle played the guitar and care home staff showed off their musical talents - with everyone who attended getting into the spirit with festival-inspired outfits.

Manager Becky Press said the event was a huge hit and also helped build connections among everyone involved. She said staff were delighted to see residents laughing and smiling while getting into the festival spirit, surrounded by friends and family.

She said: "It really looked and felt like the real Glastonbury. The community spirit was so uplifting, bringing us all together, and that felt amazing".
