NYPD officers who saved children during U-Haul rampage honoured at Rangers game

New York Police Department (NYPD) officers who saved children from being killed during a deadly U-Haul rampage in Brooklyn were honoured at New York Rangers game on Sunday (26 February).

At least one person was killed and eight others were injured when a truck driver drove into pedestrians on 13 February.

Officers Hector Santini and Frank Ingebrethsen directed children playing in the road to safety.

The pair were gifted Rangers jerseys with their names on them at Madison Square Garden.
