NYPD Say Suspects Posed as Cops in Bronx Home Robbery

New York police said they were looking for two suspects accused of impersonating police officers during the robbery of a home in the Bronx on November 9.

The robbery occurred in the Country Club area of the Bronx, police said. A doorbell camera recorded the two men entering the home wearing face masks, with one holding a police badge.

A police statement sent to local media said the men had a gun and tied up two people, before taking $30,000 in cash and $100,000 in jewelry from a safe. The suspects left the scene in a BMW, which has since been recovered, police said.
