A five-storey office block in a town centre could be turned into 195 flats.

In new plans submitted by DARA on behalf of Atlantis Horsham Limited, the flats in St Marks Court, Chart Way, Horsham, would be a mix of one and two-bedroom homes if plans are approved by Horsham District Council.

The existing basement car park with 108 spaces would be kept at the site for residents.

There will also be space for 100 cycle stands on the lower ground floor.

Each flat would have one bathroom and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room space.

The plans state that 58 of the one-bedroom flats would be suitable for one person only and 115 would be suitable for two people.

The twelve smaller two-bed flats will be suitable for three people and the other ten would be suitable for four people to live in.

The plans were submitted on June 4 and a final decision on whether to approve the plans is set to be made by July 29.
