Officers Rescue Chihuahua From Water in Sarasota, Florida

Marine patrol officers rescued a Chihuahua after she fell into the water near a yacht club in Sarasota, Florida, on Friday, February 17, the Sarasota Police Department said.

The police department said the Chihuahua named Tinkerbell and her owner fell into the water outside the Sarasota Yacht Club. While the owner was rescued immediately, Tinkerbell spent 40 minutes in the water before the officers saved her.

Footage posted to the Sarasota Police Department shows patrol officers searching for and rescuing Tinkerbell before leaving her with friends.
