Offset is getting candid about his mental health.

In a cover story interview for GQ's Men of the Year issue on Wednesday, the rapper addressed the death of his late Migos bandmate Takeoff.

“I ain’t ready to talk about that s--- yet, first and foremost,” Offset, 31, said.

He added of his newly released album Set It off, “I don’t know how to do it, but I didn’t want to just be making an album about bad s---, and dissing and putting that type of energy on the project, because it was going to make my mind be in a different place mentally.”

For Offset, creating the right song to express his feelings will take time.

“The world is not ready for it, because [everyone] is so judgmental,” he explained. “They want you to make a song pouring your heart out that’s [also] a hit."

He did, however, include "Upside Down" on the album — which is about seeking success while coping through hardship.

"It’s feeling confident I’m going to go up with the music, but I’m down every day. It’s the challenge of trying to be the best at your worst times," he said of the track.

Earlier this month, Offset and fellow Migos member Quavo honored Takeoff — who was fatally shot at a bowling alley in Houston — on the one-year anniversary of his death.

“Can’t forget it won’t Forget It NEVER Forget it 🚀♾️ I Remember!,” Quavo, 32, captioned a black-and-white Instagram photograph of his nephew smiling.

Offset also shared a heartfelt tribute on social media.

“The times we spent is priceless what we built in this game they never wanted to give us our flowers we influenced the world…I Love you Take you still here with us I just know you are!!!! Migo 4Life!!!!!!” he said.

Elsewhere in the interview with GQ, the rapper explained that his album took a while to come together because he had "a little creative block" after quitting lean.

“My own mind was telling me the lean was the potion," he said. (Offset previously said that wife Cardi B inspired him to stop his years-long codeine habit.)
