Ola Jordan claims Len Goodman is fixing Strictly

You might think Len Goodman would be in for an easy ride given its his last ever series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Not a bit of it.

Former Strictly dancer Ola Jordan (yep, her again) has laid into the veteran ballroom star, claiming he’s dishing out high marks to his favourite dancers even when they’re dancing badly.

“I don’t think the marking is consistent,” said Ola, 34. “I think if someone makes a mistake and falls over and loses balance, and they still get a mark of seven or eight, that’s not right.

“I see it as a professional dancer and I watch everything. I feel if something goes wrong they shouldn’t get those marks.”

Oh, and in case you’re wondering and it’s not already bleedin’ obvious, Len’s favourite is model Daisy Lowe, OK?

“I saw fixing happen on the first show,” Ola trilled. “Danny was definitely the best that week. And yet Len was saying Daisy’s dance was the best he’d ever seen in the first week of a series.”

Ola says similar concerns about fixing was a big factor in her decision to quit the show last year.

“I was thinking about it for a long time before I decided to go,” she explains. “There were a lot of things that happened. I think if you’re not happy with your job, it’s time to go.”

So would she ever go back?

“I had my time there. It’s better for me to leave it to other dancers,” she says.

Still, never say never Ola. And besides, Len will be gone next year, so you might be in with a chance.
