Singer Olly Murs has announced his engagement to girlfriend Amelia Tank.

The 38-year-old Kiss Me hitmaker has been in a relationship with the 30-year-old bodybuilder since 2019.

Murs revealed on social media that Tank had said yes after he proposed on the beach, with her mother and younger brother looking on.

The Starstruck host shared a picture of the couple embracing on the clifftop captioned: "04.06.2022 Amelia Tank" and a diamond ring emoji.

She posted a video of herself leaping into the Dance With Me Tonight singer's arms and sharing a kiss.

Tank added: "OMG, Here's to forever with you. Getting to share one of the most special moments in my life with my Mum and little brother."

She added a picture of herself holding a wedding planning book and added, "It's begun."

The couple began their relationship after spending time together in the gym while Murs was recovering from a knee operation in 2019.

The singer and TV presenter revealed he and Tank — who won the Pure Elite bikini competition in 2021 —had dated previously and it had not worked out, but they then got back in touch when he was taking a career break.

Murs told Good Morning Britain in 2020: "After my operation we got in contact again... I was away from this world of showbiz and just at home.

"I had my hair shaven, I had one leg, a big belly — I don't know why she's with me."

Murs found fame after competing in The X Factor in 2009, coming second to Joe McElderry.

He went on to have a successful pop career with eight Top 10 singles including four number ones.

He presented spin-off show The Xtra Factor with the late Caroline Flack and is a judge on The Voice UK.

He most recently presented ITV's new talent show Starstruck earlier this year.

During lockdown, he and Tank made a series of comedy workout and prank videos together which they shared on social media.
