Olly Murs enjoys first family holiday with Amelia and baby daughter in Cornwall

The singer, 40, took to his Instagram Story to share some adorable family snaps from their visit to a popular South West beach

Popstar Olly Murs has shared some heartwarming family photos from their holiday in Polzeath, Cornwall on his Instagram.. The 40-year-old singer, who became a father to baby Madison two months ago with wife Amelia Tank, is enjoying his first family holiday since supporting Take That on tour.

The singer held his baby daughter in one of the adorable family photos, embraced from behind by Amelia, who is from Plymouth. In another picture on the feed, posted on Saturday, June 29, he can be seen carrying Madison in a cute animal print baby carrier while sporting a trendy blue bucket hat, the Mail reports.

The new father also shared a sweet video where he is seen singing to his baby girl in an effort to soothe her cries. He captioned the heartwarming family photos: "I'm in my dad era and tell ya what. couldn't be happier! Happy first holiday with our lil Mads x."

Just 48 hours after welcoming Madison, Olly performed his first gig 'as a daddy' when he returned to the stage to open for Take That in Leeds. During his performance, Olly announced: "What's so amazing about tonight is it's my first show as a daddy. I'm going to try and not get emotional. Little Madison is doing really well.

"She's at home with my lovely wife and it's a real honour to be here. I wasn't going to leave you guys hanging tonight, I'll rush home to see the baby."

The new parents welcomed their first child in April, sharing a sweet snap on Instagram. The couple posted a photo as they left the hospital, revealing they had welcomed a baby girl.

Their joint post read: "Our mini Murs has arrived. Madison we love you so much already x."

Last month, the Troublemaker singer performed at Home Park, opening for Take That in his wife's home city. Amelia, 31, visited the stadium ahead of her husband's set, sharing clips of fans queuing up outside the stadium before the gig. Panning around to show the entrance to the stadium, Amelia captioned the clip: "He's singing on home turf tonight", cheekily adding in smaller text underneath: "Oh and Take That are here too."
