Reality TV star Mark Wright was playfully ribbed by Olly Murs as he took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to his wife Michelle Keegan on their ninth wedding anniversary.

Mark, who shot to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, married former Corrie actress Michelle on May 24, 2015 at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmonds. To mark their anniversary, Mark shared a series of photos from their wedding day and some unseen snaps from their life together.

His caption read: "Best 9 years of my life. Happy anniversary babe @michkeegan ".

The Instagram post quickly garnered nearly 88,000 likes within the first 12 hours and was flooded with well-wishes from the couple's celebrity friends, the Mirror reports. Among the first to comment was Michelle's former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley, who wrote: "Happy Anniversary loves".

TOWIE's Leah Wright also chimed in with: "Happy anniversary to you both @michkeegan."

While the comments were mostly filled with joy, one cheeky remark stood out. Olly Murs, evidently still feeling the burn about not making the guest list for the wedding, quipped on the post: "Still annoyed I never got the invite."

Accompanying his words with a crying emoji and a laughing one, Olly's jest was clear, though neither Mark nor Michelle have acknowledged the comment with a like.

Mark has previously shared an amusing anecdote from their wedding day, involving a trouser mishap with Michelle's father. On his Heart FM show, Mark recounted: "On the wedding day right, my father-in-law is panicking about his speech. All I wanted was for things to go smoothly for him. To make matters worse, Michelle's step-father's there as well, we're getting on our suits, looking slick as you come, black tie, tuxedo. But I look around and my father-in-law Mike is sat there in just a shirt, bow tie and rainbow-coloured boxers."

He also opened up on his radio show about the interior design decisions for the Essex mansion he shares with Michelle, admitting that her taste takes precedence. The couple's home, estimated to be worth £3.5 million, features a striking chandelier in the entrance hall that cascades from the third floor, sparking mixed reactions online.

Discussing the contentious "centrepiece" on air, Mark recounted: "I want to talk about something I did on Instagram this week... Now I don't know about you, but in my household, my partner makes the final decision and has the final say on everything.."

He continued, sharing his initial doubts about Michelle's choice: "Even when saying 'Mark what do you think? What you think of this colour? ' I'm like 'yeah, we should go for that one'...'well actually no, we're going for that one'... May as well just be quiet. But when it came to picking a chandelier in our house like the light in the middle of our hallway that drops from the third floor ceiling, she designed it and drew it and I was like 'what is that..'."

Despite his reservations, Mark admitted the end result was impressive: "It's just loads of like light bulbs just dropping from the ceiling and when she drew it and designed it with the amazing company I looked at it... I was like 'this just doesn't work' and I really didn't like it but I had no say as I said but we went for it we hung it and it looks amazing."
