Singer Olly Murs made a cheeky comment to Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan on their ninth wedding anniversary. The former The Only Way is Essex star shared a message with his actress wife, who made a name for herself on Michelle Keegan, in which he described married life as being the "best nine years" of his life.

Tagging the actress in the Instagram post, he added: "Happy anniversary babe". It received almost 88,000 likes in the first 12 hours after being posted, with many of the couple's celebrity friends sharing their love for the pair, The Mirror reports.

Michelle's former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley was among the first to comment, saying: "Happy Anniversary loves", while TOWIE star Leah Wright added: "Happy anniversary to you both." Alongside the messages of love and well wishes, however, singer Olly Murs took the opportunity to remind the couple of how they snubbed him from the invite list to their wedding nine years ago.

Taking to the comments himself, Olly joked: "Still annoyed I never got the invite", alongside a crying and laughing emoji. Several fans responded to his comment, suggesting the couple should have a vow renewal to make up for him missing out the first time.

According to The Mirror, Mark has admitted previously that their wedding day had a touch of jeopardy to it when Michelle's father lost his trousers shortly before walking her down the aisle. Speaking to listeners of his Heart FM show, Mark revealed: "On the wedding day right, my father-in-law is panicking about his speech.

"All I wanted was for things to go smoothly for him. To make matters worse, Michelle’s step-father’s there as well, we’re getting on our suits, looking slick as you come, black tie, tuxedo. But I look around and my father-in-law Mike is sat there in just a shirt, bow tie and rainbow-coloured boxers."
